Les Cinéastes is delighted to welcome director Pablo Melocco, who will be presenting his short film RÉVOLTÉ.E.S. The screening will be followed by a discussion.

What forms of activism are the most strategically relevant to today's ecological struggle? With the increase in acts of civil disobedience, symbolic demonstrations by associations and shock actions by environmental activists, the struggles to preserve the environment are diversifying and intensifying, and with them the opposing responses, be they political, media or judicial, as witnessed by the failure of the Earth Uprisings to break up. The solidarity between anti-capitalist, ecologist, anti-racist, feminist and anti-validist struggles is profoundly transforming methods and actions, which are becoming more radical at the same rate as the repression against them is worsening. Révolté.es is based on a number of ideas that take this observation as a starting point for questioning and participating in the debate around these changes.
