Photography, a passion
"I've been photographing professionally and privately for a long time. My favourite fields are reportage (telling a story), lifestyle and rendering impressions with soft colours or values. I prefer to shoot with large apertures to reduce the depth of field and direct the viewer's gaze towards the main subject without too many detours...".

Celtic Visions" exhibition, as part of "Coup d'Parquet 2025".
"About ten years ago, I joined the Mamertine association 'Parce-que', which focuses on Celtic music and dance. The highlight of the year is the well-known Coup d'Parquet festival, which takes place at the end of the year, around the beginning of November. The association also organises a monthly musical get-together (session), usually at Paulo's café in Mamers, La Rotonde. It goes without saying that the clichés have become innumerable and that it is difficult for me to extract a brief selection in order to exhibit them. From the outset, I've tried to deal with practically the same subject by including treatments that are as different as they are varied. Nevertheless, whatever the final aspect, the basis of my work is always centred on the expression of the human being and the documentation of atmospheres, while including a drop of humour... "

Exhibition on view at the Maine Saosnois Tourist Office in Mamers: 30 October to 24 November 2025 - Free admission - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 6pm,
Saturday from 10am to 12pm. Closed on Tuesdays, Sundays and public holidays.
