The cabinet of curiosities is filled with a swarm of canvases by painters from Mance, the 2 most famous of whom are Lionel Roye and Charles Fouqueray. The shelves display intriguing finds: sculptures, weapons and objects of all sizes. Under the many glass cloches, you can also discover all sorts of reptiles and mammals.
Behind this multitude of small objects lie vast and exciting stories: a crocodile born in Le Mans in 1889, a shark and an armadillo, and a portrait of a young girl with a bird by Ch. Jablonski.
The cabinet and reception desk are characterised by a skilful staging of items, most of which come from natural history and are intended to be as rare and strange as possible.
