David Munnelly
He is originally from Belmullet, Ireland (County Mayo).
He was brought up in a very musical household. David learned to play musical instruments from his grandmother and developed a love of traditional music, particularly the accordion and melodeon.
Known for his colourful style, bold bass fingerings, complex arrangements and modern compositions. David exudes notes of the Roaring Twenties and the energy of a box of dynamite. All of this is combined with a masterful talent for letting a melody take its time with a sound that's totally incomparable and brilliant.
Tim FLAHERTY,
Tim Flaherty has taught Irish dance for many years at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, the Grand Bal de L'Europe, the San Benedetto in Alpe Folkfest and many other festivals across Europe; he also gives weekly classes in his home town of Belfast. As well as teaching the steps, styles and movements of the dances, Tim emphasises the fun that can be had through the music and the friendships that can be made on the dance floor.
He is also an accordionist and flute player.
Tim regularly teaches dance in Ireland and Europe and plays a key role in the delivery of dance classes for young people.
in the delivery of dance courses for Belfast Trad.
He is also a tin whistle teacher in Belfast for beginners and advanced players.
