Les Cinéastes cinema is delighted to welcome distributor Lucas Thiebot from Malavida. Malavida is a distributor committed to the re-release of heritage films. To mark the re-release of Nanni Moretti's Palombella Rossa, Lucas Thiebot will be on hand to introduce the screening.
What better way to extend the summer than with a film featuring water polo? Les Cinéastes is delighted to welcome distributor Lucas Thiebot from Malavida for the re-release of Nanni Moretti's Palombella Rossa (1989). The screening will be introduced by Lucas Thiebot and followed by a discussion.
The filmmaker plays the main character, a Communist MP and water polo player who suffers amnesia following an accident. Moretti's film is peppered with melancholy rumination on his country and childhood memories.
