Right in the heart of a bustling city, there's a haven of peace. It's a small park, enclosed and forgotten, a veritable oasis in the middle of the urban jungle. It's home to Ollie the owl, Charlie the frog, Mabel the stork and five little birds. Ollie's friends have many adventures here, told in 9 chapters and dealing, from a child's point of view, with the small (but essential) things in life: discovery, friendship, solitude, etc. It's best to come at dusk to meet Ollie and his accomplices: that's when the city falls asleep and its inhabitants go to bed. But not our heroes, who stay wide awake to live out their little adventures.
