We are all neighbours, and with this simple premise in mind, we decided to take a closer look at our neighbourhood relationships. To question the links we have, or don't have, with the people who live near us. "Ces gens qui vivent trop près de moi" invites us to take a closer look at our neighbours and, above all, to laugh at ourselves. Laugh because it's funny. Laugh because it's cruel, laugh because it's sometimes sad. But always laughing. And to be touched by our stupidity and our humanity.
Written from improvisation, Sébastian Lazennec's new production with the 17 non-professional actors of Grand maximum takes us on a humorous and disproportionate journey into a world full of tenderness and cruelty, in which melancholy and the search for meaning in no way prevent us from having as much fun with our behaviour as they have with theirs.
