On Saturday 11 October from 3.30pm, the Stade Marie-Marvingt will be the venue for a major celebration to mark the 40th anniversary of MANS FC.
OVER 5 HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT TO CELEBRATE THE CLUB'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY!
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Club is inviting you to an exceptional day on Saturday 11 October at the Stade Marie-Marvingt! It's going to be a great intergenerational celebration, with competition, entertainment, sharing, emotions and lots and lots of "sang et or" passion!
A unique event not to be missed by all Club fans!
3.30PM: A 100% 'SANG ET OR' LINE-UP!
And what better way to kick off the Club's festivities than with a 100% "sang et or" fixture? Our women's professional team will be in the spotlight when they welcome RC LENS, promoted to the Arkema Première Ligue, to Marie-Marvingt, as part of the new Women's League Cup. Kick-off at 3.30pm, and "evidemmans": go LE MANS FC!
5.15PM: AN ENTERTAINMENT VILLAGE FOR ALL GENERATIONS!
Then head to the forecourt of the Stade Marie-Marvingt for an entertainment village for all the family to enjoy! Games, meetings with former Club players, a dive into the Club's history and your memories... That's what awaits you! And don't forget our fan zone - DJ and street food - for a great time!
6.30PM: LEGENDS AND HEROES!
From 6.30pm, return to the stands for a parade of the Club's legends! Presidents, coaches, players, managers, volunteers, supporters... All those who have made, are making or will continue to make the Club's history, from MUC 72 to MANS FC, from DH to L1 via the "remontada", will meet up and be celebrated on the pitch of the Stade Marie-Marvingt!
Before that, at 7pm, a gala match with a team of "sang et or" legends, coached by Frédéric Hantz and led by Didier Drogba, up against La Team des Héros, a group of former internationals and renowned sportsmen and women, including Javier Pastore, Robert Pires, Sydney Govou, Guillaume Hoarau, Souleymane Diawara and media personalities!
