Choreographer Philippe Lafeuille takes a mischievous look at the classics of classical dance. A dazzling show that combines derision and technical prowess!
In 20 tableaux, six dancer-actors take on the codes of ballet at a frenetic pace, offering parodies that are as zany as they are demanding. From Swan Lake to televised dance competitions, they link humorous and poetic scenes, juggling cross-dressing. With their supple bodies, unsettling ease and characters who can change their skin at will, the joy of these artists is contagious. Presented for the first time in 2014, this Chicos Mambo show has become a cult hit. Each tableau is a colourful surprise in a whimsical, theatrical universe. As for the costumes, the tutus lend themselves to every kind of fantasy: it's colourful, lively and catchy. Dance in all its forms!
