Big Bang en Concert

The Saint Denis d'Orques Big Band is preparing its repertoire for the traditional Sainte Cécile concert, while adding a rather stimulating musical challenge.

To shake things up and spice up the programme, Olivier Leguy, president of the Big Band, is proposing an original second part.

This year we've got some very special guests: six professional musicians with an Anglo-Saxon stage name, not really from Sarthe, "Call me daddy", who will be wowing the audience with their pop and groove sounds, a rare event that deserves to be highlighted.

The Big Band, an amateur group, will have the honour of sharing a few songs from the pros' repertoire - a real challenge! To meet this challenge, Marc Brossier, musical director, will be stepping up the pace of rehearsals in the form of Master classes.

No need to be a music lover to enjoy this original festive interlude!
