Mômo Festival : théâtre d’objet “Tempête dans un verre d’eau” de la Compagnie Tac Tac

On Thursday 11 December, the Festivals en Pays de Haute Sarthe association invites you to the Ancinnes Cultural Centre at 7pm for the object theatre show "Tempête dans un verre d'eau" by the Compagnie Tac Tac, as part of the Mômo Festival, with the possibility of sharing a traditional fish and chip after the show!

In this hilarious show, a less-than-academic lecturer shares his passion for William's Tempest and takes us on a trip to his imaginary island, where apocalyptic weather brings back childhood memories. With clumsiness and conviction, he mixes personal tragedy with Shakespearean comedy. On stage, two weathered trunks, an old stool, plastic bottles, soda cans and glasses of water where terrible storms are unleashed. Before our very eyes, Shakespeare's play becomes a jubilant object theatre that brilliantly questions our relationship with the world and its possible end.
Ages 9 and up. Running time: 45 minutes.
