British bluesman Hugh Coltman is back with a new, more intimate and personal album and tour.
Former frontman of blues-rock band The Hoax, Hugh Coltman has made a name for himself exploring the repertoire of Nat King Cole and celebrating Dr. John on Night Trippin', for which he won a Victoire du Jazz award in 2017 and 2023.
On his sixth album, Good Grief (August 2024), the rock crooner with the British accent doesn't cheat. In the spirit of the American folk songs of the seventies, adorned with jazz, folk and blues, his devilishly poetic songs touch the heart.
Hugh Coltman's new album marks a return to the essentials, a work of resilience and rare sincerity.
