The 450m² exhibition features a collection of more than 2,000 authentic items, including more than 100 mannequins in uniform, displayed chronologically from June 1940 to the Liberation and the return of the prisoners.
Wood carvings representing famous scenes and characters from this troubled period, all created by Roger Bellon, enhance the visit.
The museum is one of the oldest in France to be dedicated to the war, and bears not only the name but also the unique story of its creator.
Take advantage of the TER 22 Le Mans - Laval line and Conlie station to discover the Roger Bellon World War 2 Museum.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation, from 08 to 11 May 2025, the museum will be offering the public a single entrance fee of €1 (free for under-12s).
From 08 May to 3 August, visitors will be able to take part in the game "And if 08 May 1945 brought you luck". Each entry ticket entitles you to a chance to win the gift of the day.
It's the perfect way to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation and the museum's 25th year in Conlie.
