Situated in the Sabolien bocage, the Manoir de Sourches was already built in 1403 on an enclosed feudal motte. Pottery shows that the site was already inhabited in Gallo-Roman times. Sold during the French Revolution, the manor was transformed into a farm, and the original character of the site was gradually masked by the addition of numerous utility buildings. Before the arrival of the current owners, the buildings were abandoned. After several years of effort, the manor house is gradually regaining its authenticity. Today, the site is almost entirely a manor house, with most of its features dating back to the Middle Ages. Gardens awarded in 2018
