WALKING TOUR - ESCAPADE IN THE CRADLE FOREST
Jupilles lies 35 km south of Le Mans, in the heart of the Bercé national forest. This walk will enable you to discover part of this vast massif, which covers 11 communes and 5,400 hectares. The forest has fostered the development of many wood-based trades. Jupilles clogs in particular were sold all over the world at the beginning of the 20th century.
Before or after discovering Bercé, Carnuta, the Museum of Man and the Forest, will enable you to learn more about forestry activities past and present.
