Asnières- sur- Vègre, this little town of character is not short of assets, with its church and its mural frescoes, the old bridge, the Manoir de la Cour, its rose garden, an arts and crafts centre, its narrow streets full of colourful perennials... A few more kilometres of pretty countryside and you'll arrive in Fontenay-sur-Vègre, a beautifully restored little village. Le St Philibert is a perfect restaurant for lunch, and if you're more of a picnic type, the municipal lake is also a great place to take a break.
