Dirt tracks alternate with roads through the village, where you will discover the Gothic-style church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation and the school. It's important to remember that the first schools in La Quinte date back to 1773, more than half a century before the government made it compulsory for all towns with more than 500 inhabitants to have boys' schools. What's more, a girls' school was also created, which was very rare at the time.
Approximately 20 km south-east of Sillé-le-Guillaume.
Start/Finish point: Mairie.
- Head towards the church, towards the centre of the village.
- Then turn left onto rue de Lavardin. Turn left before the cemetery.
- Take the footpath on the left, then follow rue du puits. Turn right onto rue de Mautouchet. Back at the fork in the road, continue straight ahead on the departmental road, crossing to join the route des grands bois.
- Take the first turning on the left, "Le Petit Clairay", and this will take you as far as "Beausoleil".
- Go behind the two houses and then into the sunken lane. As you go down this path, you can enjoy the view of the village bell tower.
- Return to the town hall.
