Start/finish point: School car park behind the town hall.
- Go down the street and turn left onto the Chemin de Poché. Then take the second left onto chemin des Tuileries.
- When you reach the road, turn right and walk past the hemp oven and the old Poché chapel, then turn right.
- Follow the signs and turn left onto the dirt track leading to "La Tagerie" - "Les Pâtis".
- Cross the road and head up into the forest, towards the old Roussard sandstone quarry.
- Keep following the signs and you will arrive in the commune of La Chapelle-Saint Fray.
- At "Les Bruyères", you can enjoy a panoramic view over the plain. Turn left. 130 m after marker 140, you can turn left to see the Gallo-Roman ruins (retrace your steps to continue the walk).
- On the road, turn left to go back up to Châteaubert, then left again, following the signs. You will pass through the Bois des Iles.
- At "La Charbonnerie" turn left. Turn left at Tremblé, then head back up towards the village.
- Turn right at the hemp oven. You will pass "la croix du buisson". Go down towards the church and head towards the town hall.
