Things to see
-Le Saut du Serf (or Stag Leap): legend has it that an unfortunate serf (peasant), pursued by a lord's howling pack, made a prodigious leap over the two slopes. It could also be a stag and not a serf. Both spellings are used. This area of Sainte-Suzanne sandstone is a climbing spot. On the ground, you can see the site of the charcoal pits in the shape of circles that fed the Cordé forge.
-Roche Brune: this name comes from the rocky bar at this spot. This site, which is also a rock-climbing area, differs from Saut du Serf in that the rock is Armorican sandstone.
-Maigret Cross: this Maigret Cross was used as a pilgrimage to cure children of skin diseases... Parents had to take a piece of the child's clothing with them and pray on an empty stomach for their wishes to be granted. It was already listed before 1775. Viewpoints from the circuits, which combine open plains and closed, forested landscapes.
Viewpoints: over the commune of Mont-Saint-Jean and panoramic views of the Alpes Mancelles.
