Fenêtres sur le Vivant !

In the heart of Le Mans station, Stom500 - guest of honour at the Festival Plein Champ (4 to 6 July 2025) - is offering two timeless pauses where travellers slow down and stop before setting off again. Two visual breaths, designed with them in mind. On one side, like an aquarium, the transparency of the glass reveals marine worlds, fragile reflections of coexisting species. On the other, contemporary stained glass windows, where the light shines through the colours to reveal the encounter between the animals of the land and the sea.

And there's always the strong idea that runs through Stom500's work: Living Together. Underwater as on land, every species has its place. In our societies too! But here, there's no need for alarm or rhetoric: the awakening comes through smiles and wonder.

Plein Champ and SNCF Gares & Connexions are offering a unique immersion experience. The works can be seen high up in the main hall on the north station side and on the windows at the entrance on the south station side.
