La Lucazière is an hour and a half south of the ferry port of Ouistreham and 35 minutes from Le Mans. It is set in its own grounds, along with Grooms Cottage, which is part of a 400-acre organic estate with château, meadows and extensive woodland. The owners of the gîte live in the chateau, far enough away to allow you privacy but within easy reach if needed.
The spacious gîte has 4 bedrooms sleeping 7. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, which opens onto the living room where you can relax and enjoy your favourite British TV channels! A ground floor double bedroom with its own shower is ideal for those with reduced mobility. A ground floor toilet is located in the entrance hall.
The first floor has a twin bedroom, large family bathroom and separate wc. The second floor has a further double bedroom and a spacious single bedroom.
Outside is a private patio with garden furniture and barbecue. The gîte's garden opens onto the private forest of La Lucazière, where you may be lucky enough to spot the wild deer that live in the château grounds.
The swimming pool is fenced for the safety of young children, and is also alarmed. However, please note that there is a small duck pond in the communal garden.
