The Base Nature du Chapitre invites you to come and enjoy the peace and charm of the Orne Saosnoise valley with your family or friends. Halfway between Alençon and Le Mans and close to the Alpes Mancelles.
We welcome you to our 2-hectare wooded lake, from which you can board our canoes and explore the 4 kilometres of navigable water on the Orne Saosnoise. We offer canoes for hire for one or three people (2 adults and 1 child). This hire service is unaccompanied.
You can also take advantage of the shade of the trees and the coolness of the pond to organise picnics with family or friends, thanks to the availability of the site, tables etc...
