Since 1978, the MJC Jacques Prévert has been housed in a 16th-century mansion in the Cité Plantagenêt. It's a real space for artistic expression, where everyone can practise their passion at their own pace and level.

Born out of the Republic of Youth, the MJCs - Youth and Culture Centres - were set up in 1948 to "enable young people and adults to become aware of their abilities and become active citizens in a living democracy". Located in the Cité Plantagenêt since 1978, the MJC J. Prévert is an active participant in this movement. It develops spaces (Workshops, Radio, Cinema, Social Life Spaces...) for learning, emancipation, construction, social links and expression, but also for the creation of citizenship. As a popular education association, it is fully committed to its principles and practices and defends the promotion of cultural rights for everyone.
