This 11th-century church has preserved its original setting, with its enclosed cemetery, its crosses and its "bouessée" cross. You can admire wall paintings from the late 15th and early 16th centuries, two beautiful altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, and listed furniture and statues.
The church is situated on one of the pilgrimage routes to Mont St Michel and Santiago de Compostela.
Since 1977, the association "Les Amis de l'église Notre-Dame-des-Champs" (The Friends of Notre-Dame-des-Champs Church) has been working hard to restore the church and bring it back to life.
Concerts are held every year from late April to mid-September (free admission). Outside of these events, tours are available by appointment - Tel 02 43 25 26 42 or 02 43 25 28 72 .
