Saint-Aldric is a church in the north-east of Le Mans.

Discover the fascinating history of Saint Aldric church in Le Mans! Founded in 1929 by Cardinal Grente, it started out as an emergency chapel before being given a permanent church in 1964, thanks to valuable help from the Bishopric of Paderborn!

The Parisian architect Michel Mare designed this unique church in raw concrete, a style which, although little known, reveals a passion for open gable façades and ashlar facing.

Consecrated in 1964, Saint-Aldric is an architectural gem waiting to be discovered!
