Its church dates back to the 12th century and contains works that are listed as historic monuments, including the 13th-century carved stone tomb of the Lord of Chaources.

Terracotta altarpiece. Created by the Mance architect and sculptor Joseph Lebrun in 1771, it depicts the Adoration of the Shepherds. The recumbent statue and frescoes - in a vault to the left of the choir, a stone recumbent statue depicts Payen de chaources II, Lord of Au fief and church of Neuvillette, which he is said to have founded in the 12th century. At the back of the vault are 13th-century frescoes depicting the Virgin Mary holding a piece of fruit in her right hand.
