Complementing the "Landscape in Revolution" exhibition on display inside the station, this exhibition traces the history of the old railway line from Mamers to Saint-Calais. The exhibition features 9 richly illustrated panels, covering the history of the line from its inception to its partial transformation into a tourist railway. They first look at the general context in which the railway was created, then detail its development and its impact on the village of Tuffé, before evoking its closure and the epic Transvap association. Lastly, the exhibition looks at the railway heritage of the Sarthe region, before concluding with a discussion of transport issues and the role of the train today.
Free admission, all year round.
