It's a unique place, since there are only two writers' houses in France!

In this museum, you'll rediscover the charm of classrooms of yesteryear, with their furniture, blackboards, wood-burning stoves and, of course, the smell of ink and chalk!
You can also explore the teacher's accommodation, with its kitchen and bedrooms. In the former town hall secretariat, showcases present the work and life of Catherine Paysan.
This famous writer was born, lived and learned to read and write in this school house, where her mother was a teacher.
