The priory was run by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Saint Vincent du Mans until the French Revolution, and in 1988 became a venue for cultural events. Founded in the middle of the 11th century, Saint Julien Priory was restored in the 16th century. Made of stone, rendering, brick and slate, the bell tower is pointed in the neo-Gothic style. It has a chapel with 16th-century enamel and stained glass windows. It is listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques.
The exterior of the Priory can be viewed all year round.
