Set on a promontory, the old town dominates a landscape of great serenity, the highlight of which is the imposing Abbey of Saint Pierre.

At the gateway to Sablé, like Solesmes on the other bank, Juigné is cradled by the waters of the Sarthe, once used by barges and now a tourist route par excellence.

Juigné is a place steeped in history, as evidenced by its 12th-century bell tower, its magnificent 15th-century residences and the traces of its rich industrial past.

The Sainte Anne cross offers a panoramic view of the village. The lime kilns are accessible by footpath.
