Aréa Jeune Ballet de Genève – 22èmes Rencontres Chorégraphiques Maine Saosnois

Because we never tire of it, the Area Jeune Ballet, already a guest at the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Maine Saosnois in 2024 and 2025, returns in 2026 with a new repertoire!
Created in 2015, the AJB is a junior company that grew out of Dance Area's Advanced Dancer Training programme in Geneva. It is made up of around twenty talented international dancers, aged between 18 and 22, selected by audition. During their training, these young artists work with influential choreographers of varied styles. Thanks to its extensive repertoire, Area Jeune Ballet is a regular guest at festivals, cultural events and private functions in Switzerland and abroad.
As part of the 22nd Rencontres Chorégraphiques Maine Saosnois, the young dancers will be performing new contemporary choreography.
The programme will include the following pieces Edouard Hue's 'Into Outside', Alba Castillon's 'Une nouvelle création' and Gil Harush's 'Kiss and fly'.
