Atelier croquis nomade

I'm Charlotte Foisseau-Bouttier, a freelance illustrator for over 15 years. I love sketching from life and do it regularly. I'm commissioned by the press to draw courtroom scenes for the newspaper's legal articles.
This workshop is designed to introduce you to drawing and, more specifically, to sketching on the spot, a quick snapshot to describe what's essential. We'll take a stroll through the streets of Mamers and stop to sketch a few views. It's a really relaxing way to discover the town in a different way and experiment with different drawing techniques.

In this 3-hour workshop you will :
- learn about perspective techniques, or how to give depth to your drawings
- choose the framing for your drawings and how to capture the essential in a very short space of time
- discover the richness of colour and transparency in watercolour.
- relax and gain confidence in your ability as an artist reporter!
- have a great time in this small, friendly group.
I'll provide you with watercolours, brushes, pencils and even a folding chair. Bring your favourite sketchbook or a few sheets of paper with a backing (minimum 160g to support the paint).
