Hemp is a plant that has shaped the landscape of the Saosnois region, as well as that of villages and towns such as Mamers.
Marie-Paule loves local history and genealogy, and collects old postcards of her native village, Marolles les Braults, as well as the activities and trades of yesteryear.
To help you discover the extraordinary plant that is hemp, she offers to tell you all about its cultivation and exploitation at the foot of a unique site in the Sarthe, the double hemp oven at Lucé sous Ballon.
