On Sunday 23 November, Sarthoises et Sarthois are invited to attend a free event to discover or rediscover Gotlib, une vie en bandessinées, a scathing magazine published on 1 April 1975.

The Sarthe Departmental Council, in partnership with Librairie Bulle ! and Fluide Glacial magazine, is organising a unique comic book event to celebrate 50 years of the magazine and its founder Gotlib. Public reading is a compulsory area of responsibility for the Département, which manages a network of 136 libraries in the Sarthe.

- 12.30pm: Opening of the Abbey - refreshments available on site
- 2.30pm: Talk on Gotlib's life and legacy, hosted by David Rault
With Arnaud Le Gouëfflec, Julien Solé, Mo/CDM and François Boucq. (with interludes by Thomas Dutronc, Richard Gotainer and Frédéric Fromet)
- 3.30pm: Gotlib Comics Prize (shortlist to be announced)
Presentation of the Prize and the Jury by Ariane Gotlieb, with Clara Dupont-Monod, Thomas Dutronc, Richard Gotainer and Charline Vanhoenacker
Presentation of the authors and titles selected for the 2026 Prize
- 4pm: Auction of original plates
