Concert Rina Das Baul – Musique Bauls du Bengale

Rina Das Baul is one of West Bengal's most respected and celebrated Baul singers. Rina comes from a Baul family and learned the words, rhythms and musical instruments from her grandfather at an early age.
Rina Das travels the Asian continent and Europe with her trio on major foreign stages such as WOMEX (World Music Festival). She is accompanied by two artists: flutist Mohan Tanti and percussionist Khokan Das.
For centuries, the songs of the Bauls have echoed across the horizons of Bengal and beyond. They evoke the desire to rise above artificial differences to unite with the divinity that resides in human beings.

Bring warm clothing . Depending on the weather, the show may be cancelled. The decision is made a few minutes beforehand!

The show takes place in the Théâtre de Verdure (300 seats with a view of the old lime kilns).
