Visit to the La Sablésienne biscuit factory (approx. 1 hour)
La Sablésienne is a family biscuit factory founded in 1962 by Georges Justier, a pastry chef in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. After learning about the history of the biscuit factory, visit the workshop and take a guided tour to see how the shortbread is made right through to packaging. At the end of the tour, sample several variations of this biscuit "made in Sarthe".

Malicorne-sur-Sarthe is renowned for its excellent ceramics tradition: richly decorated earthenware and the famous openwork tiles used today on the most prestigious tables in France. The Musée de la Faïence et de la Céramique invites you to discover this century-old expertise. Set in the unique surroundings of a former factory, the museum's 2,000m2 exhibition space reveals the shapes and styles of Malicorne "hand-made" earthenware and the art of the master earthenware makers.
