This photo exhibition shows how Provence cane (Arundo Donax L.) is grown in the Var, harvested and dried, and then turned into reeds for wind instruments.
Some of these reeds are not destined for a musical career. They are observed, measured and analysed at LAUM, the Acoustics Laboratory at the University of Le Mans.
Free admission between 8am and 7pm
