at CGR LE MANS LE COLISEE

a film-meeting about donation and transplants

"Bone marrow donation is too little known in France" A. suffering from leukaemia

Promesse, a film by Laurène and Thomas Hug de Larauze,

Synopsis
Laurène, aged 22, leaves behind the image of a thirst for life bursting at the seams despite her illness, as well as dozens of hours of videos she shot to share her story. No one has ever seen her footage, and she and her twin brother promised to make a film about it. Following in his sister's footsteps, Thomas decides to question his own memory and that of his family, and to fulfil his promise.

An evening about donation and transplants
After the screening, there will be a meeting with the director and Laurène's brother, Thomas Hug de Larauze, Gérard and Véronique, parents of a donor, Alexandre Allain, a double transplant recipient, Sylvie Breton, President of FRANCE ADOT 72, hosted by Agnès Millot, a journalist with RCF Sarthe.

Thomas Hug de Larauze, brother and director
"I decided that this film would not just be a portrait of Laurène, but that it would tell the story of how our family lived through our history.
"I can never be grateful enough for being her twin brother, to the point of carrying her film and making it our own. Thomas

An initiative of FRANCE ADOT 72
"This film is full of love, hope and emotion. It's a wonderful lesson in life, where death is just a passing phase. It could be us, it could be you... we hope to see many of you there" Sylvie Breton, President of FRANCE ADOT 72
