The Aragon multimedia library conserves an extensive written and graphic heritage, with a wide range of documents dating from the Middle Ages to the present day. While most of these documents are not available for loan, the Research & Heritage collection is a partial exception.
This encyclopaedic collection is made up of reference works covering all fields of knowledge, as well as outstanding contemporary publications and works representative of their period (fiction or non-fiction). They include works and authors who have received little media coverage or have even disappeared from the publishing landscape, and sometimes even "curiosities". It is enriched by books previously in the open-access collections, or purchased according to specific themes, such as the history of books. It documents existing older collections.
Although these books are not directly accessible to the public, they can be borrowed, with certain exceptions (those excluded from lending include books printed before 1960, precious books and books that cannot be replaced), on simple request from the Information Desk in the Adult or Heritage reading rooms.
