MIRAGE (UN JOUR DE FÊTE)

Souhail Marchiche and Mehdi Meghari, two choreographers with a passion for hip-hop, travelled to the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank a few years ago, where they were introduced to dabkeh, a traditional dance that unites and uplifts.
It is this rhythmic, visceral group line dance that the eight dancers in this show, which aims to combine dance and resistance, will be performing.
