An ode to memory, fire and rural life...

This show tells the story of Sagal, the son of a thatcher.
Lime was once a fundamental material for building houses, but the time came when the way of building changed... and the trade of thatcher disappeared. The man who burnt stone had to change his life, and Sagal helped him to do so.

A traditional trade, a family living in the countryside, fire and traditional festivals make up the human landscape in which this story unfolds, in a time less remote than it seems. Playing with memory helps to keep it alive.

This show is part of the "Au Pays du Môme" festival. The festival is supported by a dozen cultural players from the Le Mans region. Each year, the artistic proposals are selected from a large number of local, regional, national and even international proposals...
