[Reporté] Forum Philo Le Monde – Le Mans

It was due to be held on 14, 15 and 16 November 2025 at the Théâtre des Quinconces in Le Mans. The Le Monde - Le Mans philosophy forum has been postponed to 30, 31 January and 1 February 2026 at the university and the Salle des Saulnières.

Since it was founded in 1989, the Forum Philo Le Mans has remained true to the same vocation: neither an academic conference nor a polemical arena, it attempts to combine the demands of reflection and civic debate to consider a philosophical question that resonates with current events and also with our everyday concerns: justice, memory, religion, the difference between the sexes, responsibility, tolerance, laughter...
For three days, scientists, philosophers, artists, writers and others will engage in dialogue with each other in a spirit of transmission and education.
Organised by the city of Le Mans, Le Mans University, the newspaper and the Forum association, the Forum Philo Le Mans is an event supported by the local authorities. The proceedings of the Forum are published by Gallimard in the "Folio essais" paperback collection.
