from 08h30 to 21h00
Robert Triger (1856-1927) was a major intellectual figure in the Sarthe département between 1890 and 1930. He was one of the most prolific writers on the history of Maine. A member of the Société historique et archéologique du Maine for 50 years, he chaired this learned society, founded in 1875, for more than a quarter of a century.
Produced by students in the History, Civilisation and Heritage Master's programme, this exhibition highlights his writings and his very modern approach to history, as well as his political and social commitments at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
