The Evening for Peace is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the presentation of the Yvon Luby Culture of Peace Prize to a group, association or individual who has worked for peace, solidarity and human rights. The second part of the evening will be hosted by the group Lo-jo.
Lo'jo is a French group from the Angers region, formed around author, singer and musician Denis Péan. Their music is a festival of instruments as eclectic as the kora, bass, violin, double bass and imzad, all carried by the voices of Denis Péan, Nadia Nid El Mourid and Yamina Nid El Mourid.
Music that "raises small flames of hope from the chaos of the world". Long-time globetrotters open to all world music, this collective is deeply committed to meeting and listening to others.
