Spectacle de Alexis HK & Benoît Dorémus

I'm sure we've all had the urge to go backstage and find out what goes on between the artists before they take to the stage. That's the idea behind "Inavouable", a show in which Alexis HK & Benoît Dorémus, alone in their dressing room, sing all the songs they wouldn't dare perform for the public.
"Our first songs were born on holiday a few years ago, over a glass of wine. We wrote them for the simple pleasure of saying horrible things to each other, and some became part of our respective repertoires. We ended up taking them to the Olympia to dedicate the sequence "Ces chansons qui n'auraient jamais dû arriver jusqu'ici" to them. We weren't sure of ourselves when we performed Tartelette and Torture Jésuite there, but they were a hit. Perhaps because the unmentionable speaks to everyone. Everyone recognises themselves in the unmentionable. In society, the unmentionable is the wound of truth covered by the bandage of hypocrisy. The unmentionable is what we find hard to admit to ourselves. In the end, the unmentionable is universal, because everyone likes to flirt with the forbidden, with derision, with the absurd".
