VIVA! is a true story. It's the story of a Spanish family caught up in the civil war and Franco's dictatorship. VIVA! is the story of a societal and family taboo.
On the stage, a desk. In the drawers, objects. Chalk, rolls of tape, staplers, pencil sharpeners... all attempt to reconstruct history.
Without ever forgetting the saving power of humour, VIVA! questions the collective responsibility lurking in individual acts, and a society's capacity to repair and transform itself.
