The Huisne, an essential route, encouraged human settlement in the Neolithic period, before leading to the creation of ancient roads, supplemented by the railway network in the 19th century and then the A11 motorway in the 1970s. These communication routes have always had an impact on Beillé's development, while at the same time constraining its urban planning.
