Mézeray, which for a long time focused on agriculture and livestock farming, is now making the most of its natural assets by creating hiking trails, restoring its washhouse and pottery workshop...
Fields, meadows and farms are served by an extensive network of paths still bordered by numerous hedgerows. The Domaine des Mésangères, a magnificent 16th-century fortified farm surrounded by a moat and set in 13 hectares of unspoilt countryside, will be the starting point for your walk.
The commune of Mézeray lies to the south-west of Le Mans, to the east of Malicorne and to the north of La Flèche, and is crossed by the Vézanne, a small tributary of the Sarthe, which joins the Galatas, a watercourse that you will follow along your walk.
