Take a trip down memory lane!
During your walk, you can go back in time!
You'll discover the castle of Saint Aignan, the 12th-century Romanesque church and you'll pass through places that hint at the past: la Fuie (the castle's former farm), the railway station and its water reservoir, the little gallows (where the squire dispensed justice) and the tile factory.
During your walk, you may come across cows grazing peacefully in their meadows, as the beef route passes through Saint Aignan.
There are several routes available to you:
- the Charbonnerie trail (13km, signposted in red)
- the épinaux trail (6km, signposted in blue)
- the Picherie trail (3km, signposted in green)
The GPX route allows you to combine the Charbonnerie and Epinaux circuits.
