After the route du Fourneau, the road climbs and you will be rewarded, firstly by the view over the fields and forest and then by the discovery of a hemp oven. A few metres further on, you'll find the Vieux-Lavardin manor house.

Approximately 16 km west of Sillé-le-Guillaume .
Start/Finish point: School car park.
- Drive past the school then turn left onto "Route du Mans". Then turn right onto Route du Fourneau.
- At the junction turn left, following the track. On the road turn left, then the first right to go up to "Vieux Lavardin".
- At "Vieux Lavardin", go down the gravel path on the left and you will see a hemp oven on your right.
- Go up to "La Bigottière". Enter the Mézières forest and pass a pond.
- Turn left into the forest and head north as far as the edge.
- Take the road on the left that leads to "Boisouge", go around the hamlet and join "St Chéron" go straight on and take the grassy path on the right.
- At the road, turn left and then right onto the grassy track. Follow the grass track as it winds its way through the countryside between the fields.
- Back in the village, turn right and then left at the crossroads.
- Take the Route de Beaumont on your left and drive past St Pierre church.
- At the crossroads, turn right twice to return to the car park.
